Call Status

I currently have Cisco 504G Phones but we are in a hosted environment with these units.

My current service provider does not offer real time call monitoring as well as a few other features we need.

The most crucial of them is to notify an application that we have when a user picks up the phone.

My question is:  Is there anyway to have the phone do an http notify or something of the sort on an action and provide information. 

IE:  User picks up the phone and the phone posts call information to http://xyz.xxx/?ext=101&cid=5125551212
