Hi,
I have an IP telephony setup in CUCM 9.1.
We required to block the caller id on Call forwarding.
For example.
User A's extension is 220 and call forward all to his mobile number (9331122).
When User B with extension 100 is calling to User A, the caller id showing in user B's phone is mobile number of User A(933112).
Client needs to block the Caller id for CFA.
Means If user B(100) is calling to user A(220) and user A is Call forward to mobile(9331122), the User B's Phone only want to see User A's internal number not the mobile number.
I have changed the following System Parameter in CallManager..
Clusterwide Parameters (Feature-Forward)
Change "Retain Forward Information" to True.
But no luck....Any work around for this.
Thanks in Advance....
Nithin Louis.

That was discussed at length in a thread for which I don't have the link, so you will have to search or someone has the link ready.
The solution was quite complicated, involving multiple CSSs settings and stuff.

Hi Paolo,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually I would like to block the Caller ID for CFA for all the users.
Is there any work around for that?
Regards
Nithin Louis.

You can do this in two ways..
1. Create a differnt route patterns for CFA calls..an then set this to have restrict caller id
2. configure your CFA css to match only this new RP
The other option is to use calling party xformation....
Create a calling part xformation pattern that mtaches your internal extensions. Then set the caller id to restricted..
On your gateway--outbound calls section, casign a CSS for the redirecting party CSS. Ensure this CSS has access to the partition of the xformation pattern you created..
