CALLER ID . FXO

I HAVE CUCM 7.1 AND 3845 ROUTER AS H323 GATEWAY. I CAN NOT RECIEVE CALL ID FROM THE PSTN TO THE IP PHONES.

I ALWYA RECIEVE ( FROM UNKNOW NUMBER ).

VOICE-PORT 0/3/0

CONNECTION PLAR OPX 120

CALLED-ID ENABLE

THIS IS THE FXO PORT CONFIGURATION I HAVE.

PLEASE ADVICE.

Are you the end use trying to fix things yourself ?

For start. configure an appropriate cptone for better chances.

And, please, use lowercase as everybody else.

I am the engineer installed the system i have studied CVOIE & CIPT1. for the cptone i tried different cptones but no change.

Check with a regular phone first.

If it is, check ring commands, also sometime adjusting levels is needed.

HI,

Sometimes we need to inform the provider to enable caller id (for cisco gateway). i am not sure what they do from their side

But it happened manytimes to me. it worked. Ana. phones will always show the caller id.
