Caller-ID Name not showing on Phones - CUCM 7.1.2.20000-2

Hello All,

I'am having an issue where the name attached to the caller-id is not showing up on the phones. I do see the name in the ISDN q931 debug on the 2851 router. This is a PRI and I'am using H323. Any idea what I might be missing in CUCM? Thanks

If this is for incoming calls and the IE with the CNAM is not present check with your telco.

Here is what I'am seeing on the Q931 debugs

Facility i = 0x9F8B0100A11702016B020100800F4E4557204A4552534559202020202

Protocol Profile = Networking Extensions

0xA11702016B020100800F4E4557204A45525345592020202020

Component = Invoke component

Invoke Id = 107

Operation = CallingName

Name Presentation Allowed Extended

Name = NEW JERSEY

So it looks like telco is passing us the CNAM

ask your telco if it supports display IE,

from the debug it looks like they support facility IE,

if it's the case,(display IE)I used the following commands under the serial interface and it works fine:

interface Serial0/0/0:15

no ip address

encapsulation hdlc

isdn switch-type primary-qsig

isdn timer T310 12000

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn supp-service name calling profile Network-Extension operation-value-tag local

isdn send-alerting

isdn negotiate-bchan

isdn bchan-number-order ascending

isdn sending-complete

isdn outgoing ie facility

isdn outgoing display-ie

isdn outgoing ie caller-number

isdn outgoing ie called-subaddr

no cdp enable
