Caller ID over Qsig Problem + Nortel PBX + H323

hi,

my setup is like this

CUCM 7.x ->VGR(3845)H323 ->Nortel Pbx(QSIG)

E1 PRI is connected to Voice gateway router.A call handler is handling the call when a board number hits, then they will be landing on the extension dialed.

The cisco ip phones are displaying caller ID correctly if the calls are for cisco extensions.when a call comes for Nortel phones/extensions then its showing Voice mail port number instead of calling party ID.

Have changed the service parameter settings QSIG varaint to ECMA and h323 configurations like

h323

h225 display-ie ccm-compatible

isdn supp-service name calling profile Network-Extension operation-value-tag lo

cal

isdn outgoing ie facility

isdn outgoing ie extended-facility

isdn outgoing display-ie

isdn outgoing ie connected-number

isdn outgoing ie caller-number

isdn outgoing ie caller-subaddr

isdn outgoing ie called-number

But no luck.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,

I`ve tested this and there are some settings you need to set up like QSIG DECODE on the VG but can you explain the call flow what you mean by board number- Do you mean call from IPT to Nortel - OK but from Nortel to IPT - name fails?

here is the call flow

when someone dials the board number xxxxxxxx (12345678)BSNL did number, greeting plays then the greeting request for extensions if they known.if they dial the extension of an user then the call lands on the destination phone.

In this case Nortel phones(Nortel phones are registered to Noterl passbook) are not displaying caller id which are connected via QSIG to Cisco voice gateway router(H323).

Have configured qsig decode under voice service viop but no luck.

One more info all CUG calls between Nortel and Cisco are working good and displaying caller id.

The problem comes when PSTN/outside calls are landing on Nortel phones via QSIG from VG through CUCM and Unity.
