Caller ID "unknown" from CUCM to CME

   Hello guys!

I´m having a problem with de caller ID on the ip phones,  I have setup a callmanager express 9  on my branch office and I have a callmanager  9.1 in the central office. The CME  is added on callmanager as H323 gateway. the "The display IE" is already checked on the gateway page of the CME. on CUCM.        

Caller ID from CME to CUCM works fine but Caller ID from CUCM to CME.

Any help is needed.

You mean to say you are calling from CUCM to outside of your network via PRI?

If yes then please share your "debug isdn q931" and "debug h225 asn1" from cme.

Can you please elaborate the call flow? Is it happening for all making outbound call from CUCM?

Along with the above, please check if caller id is being restricted somewhere in the Route Pattern or Translation Pattern in the call-flow.

Call flow was :


extension 1040 from cucm was calling extension 2800 on CME, and on the display from the phone that is registered on CME had the "UNKNOWN" on it.

But I just figured it out.
