At the end of this week I will be upgrading our CCM cluster's OS level to the 2000-4-4a train. A few weeks after this we are looking to do the actual CCM Platform upgrade to 3.3(5)sr2.
Is there anything quirky i need to take into consideration prior to upgrading the OS level to 2000-4-4a? We have disk mirroring on our clustered servers so i will be breaking the system drives mirror prior to patching each server so I have a roll-back route. (Servers powered off first for a clean break!)
My main concern about the OS patch (2000-4-4a) is that it seems to include BIOS and Firmware upgrades. These concern me slightly because they will be far harder to back out than simple Microsoft hotfixes...
Any thoughts appreciated.
