Using CallManger 5.1.1-3000.5. I am using TAPS to create phones, and am not being successful with the device association. In previous Windows versions I could export the BAT MAC addresses, add them to the users controlled device field, and import the users. Then when I would run TAPS and the phone was reconfigured with the correct mac address, the device association would automatically be corrected. Now in 5.1 this does not work. Maybe this was not the way to do it before. Importing using phones and users does not work as the user fields are fixed and you do not have an option to add a field for controlled devices like you do on the users page.
I didn't put enough brain power into this the first time. Once I changed the prefix on the mac address from SEP to BAT in the BAT spreadsheet, you could TAP a phone and have the users controlled device be updated properly.

answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
