Callmanager Express. How to find real Talk Time using Accounting file

Hi all:

I am working on the Log of Accounting file to gernerate a bill from duration of call.

I'm facing a problem to find the real talk time by using the formula:


DURATION = h323-disconnect-time minus h323-connect-time

We implemented CCM Express 7.1

Scenario 1: when I call outside (for example to cell phone) and destination doesn't accept the call
I saw the log 2 records:
1) answer    h323-disconnect-time not eaqual to h323-connect-time
2) originate  h323-disconnect-time not equal to h323-connect-time

Why is Disconnectime not the same as Connectime? Duration includes the time since Ringing.
So duration is not zero as expected.

Scenario 2: when I call outside (for example to cell phone), it was ringing for 15 seconds.
Destination accepts the call and talks 4 seconds.

From the formula, I expect 4 as duration. But it came out to be 19 seconds.

Please anyone suggest me how can i get the real talk time?

Note: I'm not sure but this case occurs when I connect FXO not using VOIP (please see the attached file)

With FXO, there is no connection confirmation, so accounting will never be accurate.

If you want accurate accounting, use ISDN.
