Callmanager Express Lock Settings

Hi all,

Is there a way on callmanager express to lock the access to network settings on a ip phone.

Hi Patricio,

The example shows how to disable the settings Access enable/disable;

settingsAccess {0 | 1 | 2}

Enables and disables the Settings button on an IP phone (Default is Enabled).

0 - Disabled.

1 - Enabled (default). Phone user can modify features by using the Settings menu.

2 - Restricted. Phone user is allowed to access User Preferences and volume settings only.

Can you try ?

Router(config-ephone-template)# service phone settingsAccess 0

-----------------------------------------------------

Router(config-ephone-template)# exit

Router(config)# ephone 15

Router(config-ephone)# ephone-template 8

Router(config-ephone)# exit

Router(config)# telephony-service

Router(config-telephony)# create cnf-files

Router(config-telephony)# exit

Router(config)# ephone 15

Router(config-ephone)# reset
