I came across this on Cisco site, when searching for configuring our 29xx router as a redundant when the callmanager fail:
"In a single-server configuration, there is no redundancy unless Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) is also deployed to provide service during periods when the Cisco Unified CallManager is not available"
Appreciate if any one can give me the guidance to configure this services on our 29xx router.
Thanks
Ali

In addition to the docs, make sure you order appropriate SRST licenses as it is a licensed feature.
