Callmanager sip trun to SIP proxy issue

Hi all,

I am currently facing problem with a callamanger SIP trunk to a SIP Proxy. I had set the region for calls going out and in from the SIP Trunk to SIP Proxy as G729

Usually, calls from either ends works wel1.But now there are some phones on G711 on the other side of the SIP-Proxy. They could not reach my callmanager phones using G711 with a fast busy tone. I am also getting 47 error from the ethereal captures. When I change the region to G711 from my Callmanager it works.

I have tests with other codecs and on a X-lite softphone connected to the SIP proxy and it seems that the Callmanager do not accept any codecs that is not configure on the region settings for the SIP Proxy trunk.

Anyone can help, I am using Callmanger 6.0

You need to use transcoder which converts g.711 to g.729
