CallManager/Unity Connection 8.5 to Version 9.X

Hi All

I am planning to upgrade following components and need help.

  • CallManager 8.5 to version 9
  • Unity COnenction 8.5 to version 9

Q1: Do we need COP file installation for both upgrade

Q2: Do we need to apply license after upgrade version 9

1) yes, covered in the RNs for both products, you need to read them before proceeding with the upgrade.

2) Any PAKS you have, you need to install before the upgrade.

GLO (licensing) will assist on getting the DLUs into user licenses for 9.X

Is there any suggestion or advise.

Q1: Can I upgrade CallManager to version 9 and Unity stay at current version 8.5 until next maintenance window.

Yes, you can upgrade them at different times.
