Calls between Device Pools

hi all,

I need to create two different Device Pools in one Call Manager 4.2(3) but when I do that the phones in one Device Pool Can't call to phones in the other one device Pool. All calls inside device pool works fine.

Any ideas?

Hi Javalenc, thanks for your fast answer, both device pools are in the same region and use the same codec G711

What is the location set to on the DPs? If it's different ensure that the location configuration has enough bandwidth for the calls.

Also, what type of phones are these?

as far as i remember location is set on the device and not in the DP. but might be a good idea to check it anyway

what happens when you dial?? what do you hear??

In CM 4.2 and 6.X it is set in Device Pool.

In CCM 4.2 and 6.X you can set the location on both the DP and the Device itself!

So please check what locations you have on both and ensure you have enough badnwidth for the call
