I have site where the receptionist has a 7960 phone with two 7914 side cars. The side cards have the sites staff extension on them and are setup as lines with the ring setting for both idle and active disabled.
If a staff member is on a call and is receiving another a second call, that call will not go to voicemail but instead ring the operator main extension. I am told this happens with internal calls only. I am told this only occurs on inbound internal calls (ext to ext). If I call someone who is not on a call and does not answer it will go to vm.
