Calls originate of 7821 to translation pattern don´t show the number and name

Hi,

 

My Customer is implementing IP Phone 7821 and verified the following problem:

When the call is originate this IP Phone model to another DN that have translattion pattern configured, the user B not receive the information about the name and number user A (appear unknown)

 

The version CUCM is 9.1.2.12900-11

Any have idea about this?

You probably have something

You probably have something configured, translation patterns, transformation patterns, etc to do that, look at your call flow to find out where it is.

Yes, There are many configurations about transalations pattern. The Customer inform to me that He have another IP Phone running SCCP and worked. He is verify this problem only 7821 that use the SIP Protocol.

This issue is specific to SIP Firmware phone tracked under below defect.

 

CSCso49790 - SIP Phone No Alert name in placed Calls history 

 

Symptom:
SIP Phone do not have alert name in placed calls history when hit translate pattern.

Conditions:
Environment:
CCM:6.1.1.9921-2
Phone load: 8.3.4.12
Translation Pattern: 24999 ->24010
Phone A 7945 DN 24002
Phone B 7911 24010, and Alert name is configured
Steps:
1. A call 24999, B will ring for the translation pattern.
2. B answer A. then end the call, check A's placed calls history

A only shows 24999 in placed call history, and no Alert name displayed


Workaround:NA

Thanks a lot for your contact. I can be wrong, but, I believe that not apply in my specific case, because the IP Phone is another (7821) and the CUCM version is another too (9.1.2)

Hi Wilson,

This is enhancement defect opened quite a while back hence ccm version and phone model don't match. Its more over related SIP Stack on phone code.

As told for You, the Customer don´t have probelm with IP Phone SCCP, only SIP. Are there any limitation or restriction about this IP Phone model? How verifiy call flow?
