Calls per Second

Friends,

Is there any information that a CUCM 8.5 / 8.6 would handle no. of calls per second? I remember when I was working Cisco TAC, he informed that CUCM8.X would handle 18 calls per second. Can you please help me in a Cisco document?

18 cps seems very, very little.

Let' look at this another way, which server model are we taling about? How many calls you expect ?

Its MCS-7845-I3 with CUCM 8.5.1

And how many phones do you have, how many PSTN circuits ?

We have more than 12000 phones and around 90 PSTN Circuits. Are you using the Sizing tool to check this?

With that many phones, I recommend you get in touch with a Senior Network Consultant of Cisco EMEA for overall assesment on the entire project.
