Calls sometimes cut out on locations using FXO with POTS lines
Can anyone tell me why some of our sites experience a random cut out of phone signal when they make or receive calls over the POTS lines on an FXO card? It is like the line goes silent for 5 seconds or so and then comes back so you miss some of the conversation. It may cut out several times and the person on the other end says they do not experience the problem. I have found that restarting the router seems to fix it but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows of a setting on the FXO ports to fix it.
