Calls to cell number fail when roaming out of country

Hi all, hope everyone is well !!

I have a few users with cell phone that I am not able to reach when they're roaming out of country (South America in this case). I can call them from my cell phone but not from my IP phone. I can see the call exits the system but then after a few seconds I am getting a system message saying "your call can not be completed as dialed .... ). I am running CUCM 7.1.3 with H.323 gateway and PRI's.

Thanks all in advance for any inputs / suggestions !!

Danny

What does the debugs on the GW say???

I'd assume this is a bit more on the telco side than on CUCM or the GW

hey Java !! how's are you my friend ?? hope all is well !!

I suspect the issue is on the Telco side. But I was thinking if there is any timer setting on CUCM or at the gateway that we can adjust since the user is roaming and it takes longer than normal to connect the call.

Thanks Java !!! I appreciate your reply !!

Dong fine, hope you're doing fine as well.

I'd look at the GW and some debugs to confirm that before trying to tweak any timer, either it's taking more time for the call to be established, or the telco has problems with the routing, but you need to look at the debugs first.
