Hi Guys
My client need the follow: The CEO should only receive internal calls. For external calls must be answered for his assistant. The scenario is :
PSTN-->PBX-->GW h323-->CUCM--> CEO extn 7001 : For this case the calls must be answered for his assistant extn 7000
Extn 6101-->PBX-->GW h323-->CUCM--> CEO extn 7001 : For this case the calls must be answered for the CEO
Any idea?
TIA

Within the H323 gateway configuration you will have a CSS used for inbound calling.
You can create a translation pattern for 7001 to redirect it to 7000.
Depending on how you have things setup you may need to create some new CSS's and partitions. Basically you want extension 7001 to exist in a partition that can be accessed from internal extensions but not from the CSS the gateway is using for inbound calls.
Hope that makes sense!

Thanks Matty
I've evaluated this configuring using CSS/Partitions but the issue is how tell apart the internal calls from PBX extensions and external calls from PSTN from the same GW-PBX conexion.
Example:
Extension 6501 of the PBX, call to extension 7001(CEO) : Ok
PSTN number 2+8 digit (example 26928000) of the PBX, call to extension 7001 : Answer the assistant
For both cases the destination number is 7001.

Hi Cristian,
Are extension 6501 & 7001 not part of the same CUCM? Therefore it's just extension to extension rather than via the gateway?

Yes. The 6501 is an extension of the PBX (Avaya) and 7001 is an extension of CUCM. Both are conected by H323 GW. The issue is there are calls that ingress from PSTN by one E1 connected to this PBX and are answered for the 7001 (CEO) in the CUCM.

DOH!
How are you mapping your PSTN DDI numbers to the extension numbers? Could you not map the CEO's DDI to another internal extension number that is translated to the assistant so they know they are answering for the CEO?

Here are your best options:
1. Do what Matty described (+5 )
2. Add DN 7001 as shared line appearance on the admin's phone, she can screen if call is from outside or inside and answer accordingly
3. Implement IPMA: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/41984-ipma-routing.html
