Hello! Can help me anybody?

Our customer report me about "problem". We installed in customer office CME on ISR Cisco 3845. Local telephone users (registred on CME) don't hear disconnect tone (short tones) after hanging up at the end of  connection. Customer tell me that he can hear this signal earlier. I can't find in documents that he can hear this signal and I think that he can't hear disconnect tone. Can anybody advice me or give a link on the documents?

Thank.

Sorry, I did not understood that.

CME does not give disconnect tones for ephone to ephone calls. The display returns to "idle" and that is the normal behavoir.

Please answer these questions:

Who is the calling user ? Which type of telephone lines are using calling and called user ?

Саlling user 1701, called 1700. Both user use overlaid lines.

Sorry, I did not understood that.

I'm do not understood too, but my customer try to convince me that he hear disconnect tones earlier and in one day this tones have ceased to sound.

I could not convince the customer of that that these signals should not be audible. Thank you very much for your reply.

May be they made a little confusion and they refer to calls made to an external number. In that case, disconnect tones should be heard when the remote party hang up.
