Can i restart a port on a CMM without reloading the whole card?
Occasionally we get 'blips' in service on one or more E1 circuits that we have with our local Telco. When this happens, the port(s) on the Communications Media Module flap and CallManager ends up showing a status for that Gateway as "unregistered".
Sometimes CallManager cannot re-establish a connection on that port, so the Gateway never returns to service.
I typicaly have to reload the CMM module from IOS to get it to restart MGCP and re-establish connections on all the ports with the Telco.
Is it possible to issue a command on the CMM to reset/restart only one port, rather than the whole unit? I'm sure this must be possible, but because we dont have a CMM in the test lab i am loath to start playing on the production units :)
