Can I use SRST with a CCX Call Center

So, I have a customer who is getting a new CMBE. They're also getting a CCX appliance to run a small 6 agent call center.

Obviously, clustering isn't an option with CMBE, so I'm wondering if it would be possible to use a 2821 with SRST to maintain their call control in teh event that the CMBE goes down.

Will CCX still be able to work via the SRST in the event that the CMBE fails?

I should also mention this site will be receiving PSTN service via a SIP trunk.

You can use IPCC with SRST, however if the Callmanager is down in this scenario, the CCX server will also be down since it has no other server to register with. So, you could maintain basic call functionality, but not call center functions. An alternative would be to use a TCL script on the 2821 to simulate CCX functionality.
