Re: Can not complete conference (CME)

Hi

That bit of your config tells nothing; except that you have it configured to route calls to another PBX.

Which phones are you conferencing in, and from where?

What's the rest of your config?

Re: Can not complete conference (CME)

Hi, what that means is that you do not have enough DSP resources. You can either add more PVDM or reduce the number of voice channels you have provisioned for the circuit. You can also reduce the codec types on the dspfarm profile to only the ones you want or need.

Re: Can not complete conference (CME)

Can you post a show diag so we can see what DSP/VICs you have?

Try removing G729r8 from the conference config, leaving the other g729 variants.

Re: Can not complete conference (CME)

For sh diag, please see attached.

I removed G729r8 from the conference config, but still "can not complete conference"

I'am using PVDM2-48. From cisco documentation, it said that PVDM2-48 it's not supported for SCCP Hardware based. So I try to configure using SIP software based (SIP: Configuring Conferencing Options on a Phone). Am I wrong using SIP software based?

Thanks..

Re: Can not complete conference (CME)

Hi everyone,

I have the same problem,

but when I've removed the "conference hardware" in the telephony service.

Everything works fine. Try to do it.

Now this is my question :

When we shall use the command "conference hardware" and whe we should not use it?

Best regards,

Antra

Can not complete conference (CME)

Awesome. Thanx. Removing the "conference hardware" worked for me as well.

Thanks iantra123, I had this

Thanks iantra123, I had this issue too, but I've did that you said and was resolved then. A company mate did an upgrade in a CME "CISCO2911/K9" chassis to version 8.6 and IOS 15.1(4)M7 (I don't know what version have before); after this upgrading conference stop working, but removing "CONFERENCE HARDWARE" was resolved.

Thanks a lot guy.
