can't delete pilot point (hunt pilot)

I have Callmanager version 4.1.3sr3c with a hunt pilot configured.

When i try to remove it,i got the following output:

Error Information

The current item could not be deleted because it is being used by one or more other items in the system. (40)

Error No. -2147219928 (0x80040628):

CDBLException Dump: [Delete failed because record is in use by a related table]

Although,if i take a look at the dependancy records,i only get "directory number" as result, when i click on it,i get back to the pilot point screen where i have the option to "update" or "delete"

(the usual pilot point screen)

It looks like there still is something linked to that pilot point but i don't have a clue what.

can someone help me?

Can't find anything regarding this error.

(all members are cleared also in the hunt group page)

Hi Kurt,

Have you checked the Unassigned DN's on the Route Plan Report menu to sse if that number is not there?

Hi Sergio,

Yes,and it's still in it.

But also,if i want to remove from there,i got the same message.

I will take a look in the bug list but i don't think it will be a bug.

Looks like the record is in use by another record or something.

Re: can't delete pilot point (hunt pilot)

Hi Kurt,

Just curious if you had applied the "Call Pickup" for Hunt Groups workaround? If so there is a known bug that can prevent deleting Hunt Pilots. The resolution to this problem requires some registry changes and suggests opening a Tac case. I can find the Bug # if you need.

Hope this helps!

Re: can't delete pilot point (hunt pilot)

Hi Rob,

also here,i already did it.

I followed this procedure (i already had the problem in the past but it was a different error - CSCsc95859)

1). Open MS SQL Enterprise Manager

2). Open Databases -> CCM030XX -> Tables -> right click NumPlan ->

Table-> Return all rows.

3). Click on the fourth icon (SQL) and it will present a query box.

4). Paste the following and add the hunt pilot DN, SELECT * FROM NumPlan

WHERE (DNOrPattern = '') 5). Note the

pkid of this

6). Remove the select query and paste, delete from PickupGroupLineMap

where fkNumPlan_Line =''

7). Remove the delete query and paste, delete from NumPlan where pkid =

8). Return to step 4). And continue for other hunt pilots.

This didn't help neether.Still got the same message after trying to delete.

Any other ideas? I know,it's a hard one :)

Kind regards,
