Hello ,

When one of the Cisco phone call another inside the PBX and try add another phone via the sip

trunk it doesn't work .

I hear the third phone join the conference but it immediately hangs out.

Conference calls inside the CUCM works fine.

CUCM version 9.1.2.10000-28

Any idea?

Did you assign MRG with conference resource (in case of different codec it would be hardware conference) to sip trunk ?

Suresh

There is MRG with conference resource but it is software .

Then you need to assign hardware conference if you are using codec other than g711/722 at sip trunk, so assign it once and then test.

Suresh

I spend the last day trying to understand how to configure hardware conference bridge without ruin other configuration in the router .As far as I understand the configuration starts with :

sccp local GigabitEthernet0/2.2

sccp ccm 10.130.131.9 identifier 1 priority 1 version 7.0

sccp ccm 10.130.5.1 identifier 2 priority 2 version 7.0

But I don't understand on which GigabitEthernet I should configure this .

Hello!

You should specify interface, from which your CUCM is accessible.

Regards,

Kirill

Can I add this to GigabitEthernet0/1 that already configured ? and accessible to the CUCM?

interface GigabitEthernet0/1
description ++++ Connected To Lan ++++
 ip address 192.168.188.253 255.255.255.0
 ip helper-address 192.168.180.11
 ip flow ingress
 ip flow egress
 standby 0 track 1 decrement 10
 standby 1 ip 192.168.188.254
 standby 1 priority 110
 standby 1 preempt
 ip tcp adjust-mss 1420
 load-interval 30
 duplex auto
 speed auto
 h323-gateway voip interface
 h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 192.168.188.253

Just add

sccp local GigabitEthernet0/1 (under global configuration mode, NOT interface config)

sccp ccm <CUCM_IP_1> identifier 1 priority 1 version 7.0

sccp ccm <CUCM_IP_2> identifier 2 priority 2 version 7.0

sccp

sccp ccm-group 1

associate ccm 1 priority 1

associate profile 1 register <name_specified_in_CUCM>

dspfarm profile 1 conference universal

codec ...

maximum-session ...

associate application SCCP

no shut

Hello ,

I added this configuration in the CUCM the conference bridge is still

This means something is conflicting between what CUCM expects for registration and what the CFB is sending it for regn.

Check the CUCM Group under the device pool for the CFB and make sure the order of CUCM servers is the same as this:

sccp ccm 192.168.180.2 identifier 2 priority 2 version 7.0
sccp ccm 192.168.180.3 identifier 1 priority 1 version 7.0

Also make sure that the name configured is the same. It is case sensitive.

So  I was able to figure out the problem (REJECTED)

under sccp ccm group 1  I associated profile 1 instead of profile 2 .

I tested the original problem with the hardware conference bridge but it doesn't work .

While the customer speaks with someone via sip trunk and try to conference someone else

the call to the other PBX hang out  and he stays in call with second call.

I suggest resetting the transcoder once. Usually when you configure it for the first time, it'll be in rejected and once you reset, it'll go to registered.

You can also do a no sccp, followed by sccp on the router.

Also run the show sccp command and see the state of the transcoder after the reset.

My goal was to configure conference bridge but  I got registration UNKNOWN

I configured the transcode just for test and then got rejected.

The reset and the "no sccp , sccp " didn't work

When you're adding the transcoder on CUCM, are you using the Cisco IOS Enhanced Media Termination Point type? Or are you configuring the transcoder as some other type? And for the CFB, are you configuring it as IOS Enhanced CFB?

So  I was able to figure out the problem (REJECTED)

under sccp ccm group 1  I associated profile 1 instead of profile 2 .

If I change the MRGL in my phone it works. When I call via sip and I can see

the conference in the router but when I assign this MRGL to sip trunk it doesn't work (doesn't use the resources of the router )
