Cannot access locally to 7940 manual configuration
No, the configuration files are NOT present on TFTP server , that's why phone says TFTP file not found (and TFTP server logs says the phone is looking for these 7 files but they aren't present on server itself)
Neither a CUCM system is present here , is only a 7940 i get from a friend to see if it is usable
I own a 7960 as well , but I can access local configuration by mean of SETTINGS key
It also asks the server for config files that are not present but at least I can configure it manually....
Shuld I build some .cnf file basically ??
I could use the phone with CUCM as well as 3CX or tribox , we are speaking anyway to a not-yet-connected to nothing cisco device , and I need to know if it is in working conditions.
I suppose , however, it was used in conjunction with cisco 28XX platform sold as office PBX by an Italian voice/networking provider, I don't know what system/protocol it's using ,that's what I want to discover....
