Hi, verify that dspfarm is registered using *show dspfarm profile* and you need to create AD-HOC ephone-dn to make conference work, like these:

ephone-dn 200 dual-line

number A00

conference ad-hoc

no huntstop

!

!

ephone-dn 201 dual-line

number A00

conference ad-hoc

preference 1

no huntstop

!

!

ephone-dn 202 dual-line

number A00

conference ad-hoc

preference 2

no huntstop

!

!

ephone-dn 203 dual-line

number A00

conference ad-hoc

preference 3

no huntstop

!

!

ephone-dn 204 dual-line

number A00

conference ad-hoc

preference 4

huntstop

David

Hi David,

I configured the settings suggested by you….attached for your info..still I am facing the issue…any more suggestion plz..

Rgds,

Partha

It looks like you only created 1 ephone-dn for each conference type, you need at least 4, from the documented I provied:

To configure extension numbers for hardware-based multi-party ad hoc and meet-me ad hoc conferencing, based on the maximum number of conference participants you configure, perform the following steps. Ad hoc conferences require four extensions per conference, regardless of how many extensions are actually used by the conference parties.

HTH,

Chris

I shall try your suggestion tomorrow..thanks..

Hi Chris,

I tried doing this. But same issue while trying to do conference “Cannot complete conference”.

ephone-dn 101 dual-line

number 295

name Conference

no huntstop

!

ephone-dn 102 dual-line

number 296

name Conference

preference 1

!

ephone-dn 103 dual-line

preference 2

Do you have conference ephone-dn defined?

Check out the "SCCP: Configuring Multi-Party Ad Hoc Conferencing and Meet-Me Numbers" section in the admin guide:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeconf.html#wp1021179

HTH,

Chris

Hi,

On your ephone-dn 20, define a secondary number (number xxx secondary xxxx). Then you conference should work.

What Chris also said will work.

Regard,

Baqari
