CCM 4.1 installation in Dell server

Is it possible to install CCM 4.1 on a Dell server

The specifics are Dell Power Edge 2600

2.4 Ghz with 2Gb RAM

The only supported configuration is on a Cisco MCS or HP/Compaq server with correct specs. IBM with correct specs will also work.

The Dell box is not a supported operation and callmanager will not load

- HP servers:

Just remember that the HW MUST MATCH, otherwise, the OS installation will fail with the HW detection disk.

I do see the HP server listed in the supported versions.

But the application i have is in a dvd drive whereas the server doesn't have one..

Is there any way i can get the CD version?

That is because some servers come with a DVD drive and others do not. You will need to request the media in CD not in DVD. To request the CD's you need to follow this procedure:

Refer to the Product Upgrade Tool (PUT)

(registered customers only). You'll be required to enter your Cisco Software Application Support Plus Upgrades (SASU) contract number and request the CD/CD set.

If you have any problems finding the part numbers that you need or with the order placing please try the next:

Send an email to the next address:

mp-upgrades@cisco.com

just send them an email requesting the SW CDs that you need, adding your contract number and the shipping address.
