CCM 4.1/ Route Group not showing my SIP trunk as an option

I am trying to setup a route group that will use both a SIP trunk and an ICT. Basically if the SIP trunk is down or not receiving connections, I would like the call to route to the ICT. The only problem is that when I create the Route Group, it does not show my SIP trunk as an available device to choose from. Is this standard? How can I add it?

Sounds like your SIP trunk is being used in a route pattern. If it is used in a route pattern, it is no longer available to be added to a route group and vice versa.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.
