CCM 4.2.3 Phones wont fail over to subscriber

Hi All

For some reason the phones will go off line rather than fail over to the subscriber, all the phone configurations show the second call manager, all the services match, DHCP and TFTP are duplicated on the subscriber but fail over does not happen. Any ideas?

go to the TFTP service parameters, change build cnf files to build all, restart TFTP

reset phones and try again

make sure that if using DNS you have the proper entries, otherwise use IPs

check connectivity and the status of ccm service in SUB

Hi friend, also check if in the System->CCM Group configuration are both servers (Publisher and Subscriber) and it is assigned to the IP Phones or ckeck if you have a broken SQL replication subscription using DBLHelper (C:/Program Files/cisco/bin - Publisher only) or through Microsoft SQL Servers > SQL Server Group > 'Server Name' > Replication Monitor.

I hope ths help

David

Another possible cause worth checking into might be that the CallManager service on the subscriber is not running.

Michael.
