Hi Friends,
I've just completed installing cm5 on a MCS 7815 server, the server is not connected to any network just stand alone for staging purposes. However, I noticed when I start configuring the system configs, ie, ccm system config, server, group, date/time group.. I get a error message as below:
Error occurred while retrieving information from database. java.sql.
SQLException: com.informix.asf.IfxASFException:Attempt to connect to database
server (xxx_xxx_pri_ccm) failed.
This error pops up whenever I try to call up any search results or execute any configuration.
I have restarted and reinstalled the CM 5 already 3 times and yet no success.
Some help will be well appreciated.

Did you install it as the first node in the cluster?

Yes I did, as thhe requirement is for one Publisher only.

As fas as I know, this is due the lack of a active network interface, and because of this, your IP address is also "unavailable".
Connect your NIC to an active network port (Hub or something) and please try again.
