CCM 5.1 Attendant Console on Windows XP SP3

Hello

We have found that the Attendant Console software will only launch for users that are members of the admin group on the local pc.  Does anyone know of a way that will allow us to use the AC software without us having to add the users to the admin group?  Thanks!

Re: CCM 5.1 Attendant Console on Windows XP SP3

After you install you must make the following changes on the PC to allow a non-admin user to run the software: Whoever will be using the Attendant Console must be given full access to this registry key and all sub-keys (if they are a non-admin user). Change security on the registry key  -> Change this for "Everyone" given full access to this registry key and all sub-keys (if they are a non-admin user). You can right click on this and select permissions and allow everyone

1.- -> Change security on the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.

You must also change the registry permissions. Can Add the local user to the security setting on three places: Start>Programs>Attendant Console C:\Programs\CiscoRegedit>LocalMachine>Software>Cisco

Hi Lakshmi  -  I did not attempt your solution, as I had found this...

... and thought it simpler to add permissions to the installation directory instead.  Thank you for your input!
