CCM 6.X Licensing

Hi,

I have generated a license key for CCM 6.1 using the PAK and MAC Address of the server.After uploading the license in the CCM Server i find that my services arent getting activated.

Note: I have entered the MAC Address in smaller case. Is this MAC entry case sensitive.

The PAK license you registered for online should use the Publisher MAC address. If you mis-typed this MAC address, then you will have to contact licensing@cisco.com. Remember, their are (3) parts to licensing CUCM 5/6.

Node License( server license)

Software Feature License (CallManager service)

Device License. (phones, etc)

You may only have Node registered and not Software Feature license. Check this in the license tool. Also, you will need to restart the server after the license are applied.

But if you are uploading the license file and it kicks you out at that point, you have the wrong MAC address in the LIC file. Start the long process with licensing@cisco.com
