CCM 7.0 license model

Hi,

We are in the middle of ordering a CCM 7.x cluster for one of our offices.

We are ordering 2 7825 servers.

We dont want to use the CUWL licensing.

We want to go the traditional licensing route.

In the quote from our vendor, there is an item called "License 7.0 7825 appliance 1000 seats". The quantity quoted is 2.

I understand that we have to buy the application license and DLU license.

Is the application license same as the

seat license mentioned by my vendor?

And will the application license cost vary based on the number of users?

This is correct, it's little confusing as all the 1000 means is the max supported phones on that server model. If you are not going with CUWL you need node license for every server which is what that is.

DLUs are seperate from this.
