CCM and IPCC Capacity

Hi all,

we have a 7835 CCM Server and IPCC Enterprise

According to this Document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/custcosw/ps1844/products_implementation_design_guide_chapter09186a00803fb0ac.html#wp1039700

The Capacity of my Callmanager is 125 IPCC Agent.

According to another Document the Capacity of CCM with this Server is 2500 Ip-Phones.

The Question is: If i exceeded the 125 IPCC Agent do i still have capacity available for connecting IP-Phones`? Do the number double if i have a pub and a Subscriber?

Re: CCM and IPCC Capacity

Jayd,

Those two capacities are independent. 125 is the limit on number of agents (who also have ip phones). 2500 is the recommended capacity of phones on a single 7835 server (callmanager).

Re: CCM and IPCC Capacity

Hi Jay

The best way to think about this is weighting. If you imagine that 2500 is the weight limit, or number of points. If you add an IPCC agent it takes up 20 points each. So if you had 50 IPCC agents running on this server you could still add a maximum of 1000 phones. Althought he actual number should be a little more conservative. I would recommend you have an another subscriber if you think you are going to be anywhere near a 100 agents.

Re: CCM and IPCC Capacity

Sankar is correct, the 125 is the number of agents that also do have IP phones. (as opposed to softphone agents).
