CCM Integration

Hello Experts,

I am going to integrate Cisco CallManager 4.2 with two other PBXs (Avaya and Nortel). Could someone please point me to the right documentations. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly which model or version are the PBXs and will know next week. Any help would be appreciated.

The documentation for Nortel Meridian shows only the configuration in Nortel PBX. Could you please send me the configuration that I need to do in the CCM for the proper integartion?

All you need on CCM is to create the Gateway, Route Group, Route List, Route Pattern(s) that will point to the other PBX. Off course you will need to configure and connect the voice GW to the PBX, but CCM simply directs all calls matching the specified route pattern to the external PBX.

To add to what Chris suggested, since you will have back to back T1 between the Cisco router and PBX, you have decide which side provides network clock, based on which, you have to set one side to line and other side to internal clock. Also PRI protocol should be set to user side on either the Cisco router or PBX, and network side on the other device.
