CCM Options / ASP problem

On CCM 4.1.3 we have had a number of users complaining that they sometimes cant log in to the User Options web page to change the Call forwards and Speed dials etc.

They get an error saying 006~ASP 0174-invalid path character(s)~An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the path parameter for the for the MapPath method. (-2147467259) and I have noticed in the event viewer the following logs

Event Type: Information

Event Source: Active Server Pages

Event Category: None

Event ID: 3

Date: 5/29/2007

Time: 2:39:45 PM

User: N/A

Computer: Pub name

Description:

Service started.

Event Type: Information

Event Source: Active Server Pages

Event Category: None

Event ID: 4

Date: 5/29/2007

Time: 2:39:05 PM

User: N/A

Computer: Pub name

Description:

Service stopped.

These logs occur every 5 minutes so it appears that the ASP serice is up for five minutes then down for 5 minutes the up again and so on all day.

What would cause this and how do you stop it ?

Have you tried restarting iis service ...

you go to command prompt and type "iisreset"

I'll try the iis reset but I cant seem to access that URL

Andym1ipTECH,

In response to your ASP Services stopping, have you found a solution to the problem. We also have 4.1.3 and noticed that several times per day, this service stopped and started again. We lose the Administration page as well as the glogal directory on our IP PHones, any further information that you could pass on to me would be greately appretiated.
