CCM upgrade from 3.3(5) to 4.2(1) generates high CPU

Hi there,

recently I have upgraded a cluster of 9 CCM from 3.3(5)sr1a to 4.2(1)sr1b.

At the end of the migration we have seen high CPU util on some subscribers with ccm.exe process that crashed and hard instability of the environment. We have rolled back to 3.3(5).

Now are evaluating to repeat the upgrade passing to CCM ver. 4.2(3), unfortunately the italian locale is not available on CCO, even if it seems that the 4.2(1) is good as well.

Does anyone has seen similar problems?

Thanks for the reply

Paolo Marovino

Stop the Media Streaming App service and change the startup settings to disabled or manual. Use the Serviceability Control Center tool to activate Media Streaming if required.Refer URL for the bug CSCdx40494

Ciao Paolo,

You may upload first drwtsn logs to see crash info.

Be aware that CCM 4.X consumes more resources than 3.X.
