CCM upgrade from 4.1 to 5.1

Hi,

I wanted to know that when you upgrade from CCM version 4.1 to 5.1 using DMA 5.1(3) is the corporate directory using Cisco DC directory services also migrated along with it or there is a sepearate procedure to migrate the corporate directory

Pls help as this is preventing me from starting the upgrade

the directory will also migrate along with the CUCM DB, you do not have to worry about another procedure

if you have AD then all you need to do is to recreate the LDAP link in CUCM 5.1 under system -> LDAP

as a heads up make sure ALL the users have first and last name, those are required fields in the new directory of CUCM and if not filled in the export might fail

Thanks that puts an end to my problem but the Cisco documentation also says that the passwords are set to a default password for all users and all the users needs to be duly informed for a password change
