Hi,
i have CME configured as a gateway in CCM.
when i am calling into CME from an IP phone registered the CCM, the name will display on connect not while rining.
any idea!!!

Not sure with h323. Using sip, the calling name should be there in any case.
Anyway is good to configure the incoming DP, so you can configure additional things, like codec, translations, cor, etc.

Are you using h.323 or sip? Try the latter that is easy to understand and debug.

I already did this and it is H323.
the IOS version is 124-15.T3.

Check that the name is in there at time of the call, debug ccsip or cch323.

Hi,
please note that i used "debug cch323 all".
attached the debug where you can see a working scenario.
I replayed it in the LAB.
i am calling from CCM 7002 to CME 1002:BR2, by default no caller name appears on the 7002, BR2 (Sending NOTIFY Display Info IE = BR2-ph2) works only if i have a dial-peer on the CME pointing to 7002.
It is a bit funny to work this way but in my case (at customer site) i have kind of translation pattern, i donno if this will work.
any way i will try it next week, but appreciate if someone can explain why this is happening.
