CCMAdmin Login Problem

I am having an issue on a new installation when logging into ccmadmin with IE. I am getting a Java "Hostname Mismatch" popup, and having to enter my login and password again. It is really more of an annoyance that anything, but the customer has asked that we fix it if at all possible. I have tried importing the https certificate into IE, but that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: CCMAdmin Login Problem

- Go to Control Panel

- Click on Java

- Go to Advanced Tab

- Under Security:

UNCHECK "Warn if certificate does not match hostname "

Then download the java version from CCM that can be found on this path: C:\utils\JRE

directory copy the J2RE_Client.zip file onto the local PC, unzip the file, and run the

executable.

Re: CCMAdmin Login Problem

Are you logging in the web browser or the ip address? The cert on the machine is based off of hostname you are probably logging in with ip address.

also, IE 7 does not work with ccm very well...

Re: CCMAdmin Login Problem

Thanks guys. I appreciate the amazingly fast and helpful responses. I was using IE6 and was attempting to log in with the IP address. I changed the Java settings and all seems to be good. Thanks again.
