CCME Demo

Dear Professional,

I will setup a demo to one of customer and they are planning to use for their lab. Currently, We have 2 Cisco Router 2801 bundle with CCME, FXO and FXS, 2 3550 switch and 4 7940 IP Phones.

They want to show the VOIP features and IP telephony features.

Can you guide me to setup this equipment? This is the first time I will configure and do the setup for this device.

Usually, I used MCS-7825 server and Call Manager 4.1.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

lets see if i can add something here.

Run the ccme-setup for both routers (config t#) telephony-services setup

go through the instructions

Connect routers back to back and create dial-peers to point to each other. (Therefore we are simulating a WAN environment)

Connect the FXO ports (and plu in the appropriate dial-peers) to any available PSTN lines on both routers and then the phones to their respective switches.

once this is working you can demo normal calling, and other advanced features, toll bypass etc.
