Hi All,
I'm configuring a 2811 CCME with 2 WIC ISDN double ports and I'm configuring a GSM Quescom gateway to send all the calls direct to mobile phones from IP phone to Quescom through 2811 router. Now if I call a phone in my city, country, state and etc. I use only ISDN ports and if I call a mobile phone I use only GSM gateway. Now I ask you if GSM gateway has broken or GSM cell is down is it possible to call through ISDN line automatically? Which commands have to use to configure 2811 to call another device (WIC Interface) when the default device (Quescom) is not avaible? Thank You for help
Kind Regards
Antonino

Antonino, you have to be confident about your quescom device. either it works and is reliable, or it doesn't. rememeber to configure "max-conns 1" unde the dial -peer in case it ihas only 1 sime, and use a trunk-group configuration with an higher preference to send calls via PSTN as secondary preference.

Hi Paolo,
thank you for answer, I believe Quescom is very good product!!!, but I try to follow your advises but when I apply command syntax I have an error:
>>
-In the dial-peer voip:
Router(config-dial-peer)#trunkgroup 10
ERROR: Incorrect use of config_dialpeer_trkgrp
-In the dial-peer pots:
Router(config-dial-peer)#trunkgroup 10 5
ERROR: voice port exists

On the bottom there is part of router configuration

This is the configuration for a device with only 1 sim, 1st call is via 'topex' TG, further calls use another TG. remember to configure 'no port' beforeyou configure trunkgroup.
dial-peer voice 3933 pots
trunkgroup topex
trunkgroup fastweb 10
max-conn 1
destination-pattern ^33[^2]......T
no digit-strip
trunk group topex
max-calls any 1
interface BRI0/2/1
trunk-group topex
Following the other DPs for cellphones in Italy. Good luck!
