ccme phone getting restarted

we have one 3800 ccme router and one cue module also integrated with it.

some of the phones are getting restarted when we press message key on phone to go to voicemail.

your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Please check firmware on your phones and make sure you are using a recent (better if latest) version. If not, upgrade the phones, then try again. Phones should never crash no matter the user / network activity.

i think the phones getting restarted are only 7912 so i need latest firmware for them only.

i was looking for latest frimware for 7912 phones.

can you please post the link as m not able to locate it.

Sandeep, if you can download software from CCO, login then navigate to Voice / Cisco 7900 IP Phone Software. Locate down the latest for 7912 that is 8.0(2). Get the zip file and copy the .sbin inside in router flash memory. Configure tftp-server and load 7912 to this file. Make sure you have configured "type 7912" in each ephone of this type.

If you don't have CCO access then you need to activate a smartnet contract.
