CDR backup in CUCM

Hi,

We are using CCM version 5.1.3 which says that CDR are automatically backed up through DRS.There is no need to select CAR/CDR feature to backup this data.

IN DRS, we get option of CCM feature only.After the backup is taken successfully, I do not get any file which shows that CAR backup has been taken.I get only tar file for PUB & SUB.

Can somebody advice on the same?

Thats expected behavior, now you dont need to select CAR/CDR

CSCsj17740 CDR_CAR component shown as different feature on DRS

Symptom:

CDR_CAR is still listed or registered as a standalone DRS component, although its functionality has been bundled with CCMDB DRS component.

Conditions:

Go to DRS config page.

Workaround:

Simply don't use CDR_CAR to do backup/restore, and use CCMDB instead. It will backup/restore all CCMDB related items and CDR_CAR related items together (i.e. CCM db, CAR db, CAR pre-generated reports, and unprocessed CDR/CMR flat files, etc).
