we currently are running ccm 5.1(2b) and was wondering if there is a way to have cdr's written to a mssql database. I can see in CDR Manager where you can setup a Billing Application Server, but that looks like it rights to a flat file. If anyone is doing this or could help shed some light I would greatly appreaciated it.
Linux CCM only writes the CDRs on flat files and can upload them into a (s)FTP application. you will need to write some code in order to insert them into SQL since the CDR 3rd-party integration that we used to have on 4.X/3.X is not longer supported here.
By the way, I have seen that some 3rd-party companies that have developed CDR Billing application servers that converts from flat files into MSSQL records.
