cdr management billing server

trying to add a cdr billing server without success. FTP server is up. id and password work because I can ftp to it from a dos window on a pc, directory is home directory, ability to read and write and create directories. I enter all of the variables and CM thinks about it for awhile then comes back and says connection error. I have tried various combinations of path. I have logging on on the ftp server but I really never see CM even attempt to access it.thx again

Hi,

Can you confirm that CUCM can reach the FTP server. Try and ping from FTP server to the CUCM. Usually CUCM is in voice vlan and FTP might be in data vlan and there might be no route between the 2 vlans or an ACL might be blocking some traffic.

If all that is fine, try and restart the CDR services on the PUB under the network services and feature services. Then try and configure the FTP billing server.
