CDR more than 100 records CUCM 9.1

Is there any way to pull a report from CDR in CM 9.1 with more than 100 records? I am trying to get a total call count to our main number over a week.

Any ideas?

Hi William,

This is by design. Please check the Cisco Unified CDR Analysis and Reporting Administration Guide, Release 9.1(1)

As per the doc the CDR Search reports generate only in HTML format and are limited to 100 records per search. However, CSV and PDF options are available for User Reports, system Reports and Device Reports, and they will allow you to get more than 100 records.

Re: CDR more than 100 records CUCM 9.1

A couple of workarounds are : You can use a sql query to generate a report on the CLI of the Publisher like the one below

run sql select * from car: tbl_billing_data where CallingPartyNumber ='XXXX'

But you will need to copy such reports and edit them to make them readable.

Alternatively, you can use third party billing servers ( there are quite a few available like Avotus and others ) and they should be able to provide the required reports.

Do you know of any free 3rd party CDR software?

Also thank you for pointing out CSV exports more than 100 rows!

Here is the link listing a few of them. Please discuss your specific requirements with them before going for any of them.

I have a DBA, what is the connection string to connect to the CDR database? Do you know?

Re: CDR more than 100 records CUCM 9.1

Hey William,

Unfortunately we don't allow direct ODBC, or driver connections to CUCM.

We support running SQL encoded in SOAP messages through what we call the AXL API. The API is freely available and documented, but requires a little coding. This is how UCCX and other products query the CUCM database.

The SQL API via command line was already pointed out by Manish.

There's quite a few 3rd party Billing software, but we try not to propaganda on the site. A Google search will give you good hits.
