Hi Mohammed,

Did you set this under service parameters (Clusterwide Parameters (Feature-Forward)

# of seconds? If so you might you'll need to look under the specified phone Device > DN > Page to make sure

this hasn't been set @ the Line level which will override the System-wide setting.

No Answer Ring Duration (seconds)

#

Used in conjunction with Call Forward No Answer Destination, this field sets the timer for how long the phone will ring before it gets forwarded. Leave this setting blank to use the value that is set in the Cisco CallManager service parameter, Forward No Answer Timer.

Cheers!

Rob

PS: for 3 rings I would try 12 seconds

As Rob mentions this can be set either globally via service parameter, or you can overwrite it at the DN level. "+5" for detailed instructions.

Each ting cycle in North America is 4 seconds, this varies from country to country.

Chris

Hi,

Just to add to the info from Rob (+5)

The length of the ringing cycle is depenant upn the cadence for your country

Here in the UK we ring :-

From BT SIN 351 - http://www.sinet.bt.com/351v4p5.pdf

So BRING,BRING---------BRING,BRING -------- BRING,BRING

One BRING,BRING-------

0.4S ON- 0.2S OFF - 0.4 S ON - 2S OFF

So ONE ring cycle = 3 Seconds

Is it total 5 ring cycles before the call rings on the mobile phone? Keep in mind that you have to account for your telco call setup time plus the mobile carrier setup time which can add few seconds to it.
